In fintech we literally can't — regulators want a human in the loop on anything that touches money decisions.

We shipped an internal AI helper for support without a hard fallback and it's been fine. Different stakes though.

Depends on reversibility. AI suggesting an action a human confirms = fine. AI taking the action = need fallback.
